Manchester United have stepped up their pursuit of Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, submitting a new offer exceeding £60 million over the weekend, sources close to the negotiations have confirmed.
The 24-year-old Cameroonian international has emerged as a priority target for United as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Talks are currently ongoing between United and Brentford, with the London club reportedly evaluating the latest proposal. While Brentford remain firm on their valuation, Mbeumo is said to have given clear preference to a move to Old Trafford, increasing the likelihood of a deal being struck in the coming days.
Mbeumo impressed last season with 9 goals and 6 assists in the Premier League, despite missing a chunk of the campaign due to injury.
