U.S. President Donald Trump, while promoting the Abraham Accords, said Middle Eastern nations now have “no excuse” not to join the peace initiative.
“So I hope everybody’s now joining up. We have no excuses. We don’t have a Gaza, we don’t have an Iran as an excuse — that was a good excuse, but we don’t have that anymore,”
Trump said during his speech.
The former president suggested that with tensions easing in the region, more countries should embrace normalization and peace agreements similar to those established under his administration.
