UPDATES- OndoDecides2024: APC Candidate Ayedatiwa Set to Retain Governor Seat, Leads In Many LGAs (See Results)

Ondo State Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Lucky Ayedatiwa, is set to retain his position as governor, leading in 15 local government areas announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ayedatiwa has won in all 15 local government areas declared, including Idanre Local Government, where Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) running mate, Festus Akingbaso, hails from.

However, a PDP agent alleged irregularities in Idanre Local Government Area, citing no voting in Ofosun Oniseri and ballot snatching at Alade.

After announcing the results of the 15th local government area, Akinwumi declared a recess until 12 noon to release the results of the remaining three local government areas: Ilaje, Ese Odo, and Odigbo.
