A viral video currently making the rounds on social media has stirred widespread reactions after capturing the emotional moment a lady who once rejected her boyfriend’s marriage proposal returned to plead for reconciliation — only to find out he is now in a relationship with her best friend.
In the trending clip, the visibly heartbroken lady broke down in tears upon discovering that her former lover had moved on.
The man, however, appeared unmoved, maintaining that he had long accepted her rejection and chosen to focus on someone “who values simplicity over public drama.”
The video, which has since garnered thousands of views across various platforms, has triggered mixed responses from Nigerians.
While some social media users described the development as “poetic justice,” others argued that both parties should have handled the situation with emotional maturity.
