Former Governor of Edo state and Senator representing Edo North in the National Assembly,Adams Oshiomhole, has dismissed as false a viral video allegedly showing him giving a foot massage to a woman inside a private jet.
The short clip, which began circulating earlier this week on social media platforms such as X, Instagram, and TikTok, quickly attracted widespread attention and sparked intense reactions among Nigerians.
Many critics condemned what they viewed as a display of luxury, especially amid the country’s current economic challenges and recent comments linked to the senator on rising food prices.
Online reports identified the woman in the video as a South African lifestyle influencer and adult content creator, further fueling public debate over privilege, accountability, and personal conduct among political leaders.
Responding to the controversy, Senator Oshiomhole’s media office strongly denied the authenticity of the footage, describing it as a “p+orly crafted and edited fake AI video” created by individuals seeking to blackmail him and tarnish his reputation.
The statement pointed to visible technical irregularities in the clip, particularly around the six-second mark of the roughly 30-second video, as evidence of digital manipulation and artificial intelligence interference.
