Senator Shehu Sani, former lawmaker representing Kaduna central, has backed the Nigerian government’s plan to demand the social media accounts of American citizens in response to similar requirements by the United States.

In a post on X on Wednesday, Sani said the move would ensure a level playing field in how both countries gather information about each other.
