Former Presidential aide, Author and public affairs commentator, Reno Omokri, has advised Nigerians to channel the same energy and focus they invest in watching reality shows like Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) into their personal growth, health, and financial well-being.
Omokri shared the message via his verified X (formerly Twitter) page on Sunday, in a post that has since sparked widespread conversation online.
“You see the way you are watching #BBNaija? Good. Now watch your health with that same intensity. Watch your life goals with that same focus. Watch your finances as meticulously as you do that program. And watch the energy you allow around you,” Omokri wrote.
Known for his frequent social commentary and motivational content, Omokri used the viral TV show as a metaphor for self-discipline and intentional living. He urged followers to prioritize self-development over passive entertainment.
“If you want your life to increase in value, then develop as much or even more interest in watching your self-development as you do people doing all sorts of things in a house that add little or no value to you,” he added.
Omokri concluded his message with an aspirational twist:
“And eventually, it will be you that other people are watching on television.”
