Werder Bremen defeated St. Pauli 1-0 with Agu leaving the pitch in the 45th minute.
The defender was replaced by Isaac Schmidt.
The severity of the injury is not known at the moment.
Agu was named in Nigeria’s 23-man squad for the games with Lesotho and Benin Republic by head coach, Eric Chelle on Friday.
He has made one appearance for the three-time African champions.
