Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown has heaped praise on Noussair Mazraoui after his impressive performance in the Red Devils’ 2-1 win over FC Viktoria Plzen, according to Sportskeeda. READ FULL ARTICLE
Brown, who made 362 appearances for Manchester United, was impressed by Mazraoui’s solid display at the back.
“Mazraoui, you don’t really notice him but he does everything right,” Brown told MUTV.
“He doesn’t give his man much time at all and that’s what you want from a defender.” Brown’s praise is a testament to Mazraoui’s growing importance to the Manchester United team.
The 27-year-old Moroccan international has been a revelation since joining Manchester United from Bayern Munich in the summer.
Despite playing in an unfamiliar centre-back role, Mazraoui has thrived under new manager Ruben Amorim.

He also completed 67 passes with 89% accuracy and had 91 touches of the ball.
