Woman Arrested For Allegedly Hiring Assasins To Kill 2 Siblings Over Late Mom’s Multi-Million Naira Estate In Lagos

The fate of two brothers, Alese Oluwagbenga Sunday and Mr. Alese Temitope, is hanging in the balance over alleged plans by their married elder sister, Mrs. Gbadebo Mosunmola Waleade, to assassinate them over their late mother’s estate in Lagos State.

LeadNaija reports that the property in question is located at 2, Adeojo Street, Olowora Plaza, Isheri Osun, Lagos, built by their late mother, Mrs. Oliver Bimpe Nike, who passed on few years ago.
The two brothers, Sunday and Temitope, have temporarily fled their homes and went into hiding as armed men were allegedly said to be trailing to kill them.

While Sunday and Temitope were said to have narrowly escaped death severally, but Sunday’s wife was brutally attacked and her head smashed by the armed men allegedly led by Mrs. Waleade as the men invaded Sunday’s office but missed target.

According to the complainants, Mrs. Gbadebo Mosunmola Waleade of No. 12, Foursquare Street, Alagbada Bus-stop, Ijegun Road, Ijegun, Lagos, allegedly planned with their younger brother, Oliver Chukwudi Oluwakemi, to kill them in order to inherit the property.

According to them, trouble started after their mother, Mrs. Oliver Bimpe Nike, sensed that there will be crisis among her six children over the property because she had them from different husbands. She decided to put the property up for sale and share the money among them.

However, she was unable to get a buyer before she fell sick and eventually died in the process.
After the burial, her elderly daughter, Mrs. Waleade, informed her siblings that the property was no longer for sale and as the eldest among them, she will be collecting the rent until when they will sell the property after 10 years and by then their mother would have rested in peace in the grave.

The complainants were said to have refused and insisted that the property should be sold and the money shared according to their late mother’s wish before she died.Their family was said to have waded into the matter and decided that the property should be sold and the money shared among the children.

But this did not go down well with Mrs. Waleade and she wrote a petition to the office of Administrator General of Public Trust of Lagos State located at Wempco Road in Ogba led by Mr Olajide Oduyebo. The parties were invited and the matter was decided that the property should be sold and the money shared among their late mother’s children. But she refused and went ahead to rent out the place in disregard of the decision reached.

The threats became unbearable for her siblings Sunday and Temitope, thus they wrote a petition to the Inspector General of Police through the Law Chambers of Shade Alaba and Co.

The Inspector General of Police directed the AIG Force Criminal Investigations Department (FCID) Alagbon Annex to investigate the allegations on the matter.

In the petition dated 24th March, 2025, to the IGP, the Chamber stated:

Dear Sir,

“PETITION AGAINST MRS. GBADEBO MOSUNMOLA WALEADE, MR. OLIVER CHUKWUDI OLUWAFEMI AND OTHERS

RE: CONSPIRACY, ATTEMPT TO FRAUDULENT CONVERSION, THREAT TO KIDNAP, MURDER AND CONDUCT LIKELY TO CAUSE BREACH OF PEACE.

We act as Solicitors to Mr. Alese Oluwagbenga Sunday and Mr. Alese Temitope (hereinafter referred to as our “clients”) on whose specific instruction we write in respect to the above subject matter.”

Our Clients and the above mentioned people are siblings and their mother died intestate. Mrs. Gbadebo Mosunmola Waleade being the most senior to our clients and Mr. Oliver Chukwudi Oluwafemi conspired among themselves after the demise of their mother to fraudulently convert their late mother’s estate to their own.”

Mrs. Gbadebo Mosunmola Waleade of No 12, Foursquare Street, Alagbada Bus-stop, Ijegun Road, Lagos in collusion with Mr. Oliver Chukwudi Oluwafemi of No 2, Adeojo Street, Olowora Plaza, Isheri Osun, Lagos engaged the services of suspected hired assassins to eliminate our clients, because they stand firmly to protect their inheritance.
Our Clients have been physically attacked on several occasions and they have been receiving anonymous calls of violence threat from unknown criminals and their movements being trail at all times.

Our Clients are no longer safe in their houses and they have been forced to relocate, more so they cannot walk freely on the streets because of the fear of unknown attacks. These men of the underworld have vowed to make life difficult for our clients and because of their crime and criminal antecedents, our clients resorted for “SAVE OUR SOUL” to your esteemed office.

In the light of the above, we urge the Inspector General of police to use your good office to arrest, investigate and prosecute Mrs. Gbadebo Mosunmola Waleade and Mr. Oliver Chukwudi Oluwafemi and their hired killers for justice to prevail.”

The two suspects were summoned and granted administrative bail while the Police investigation continued over the matter.

During the investigation, the Police tried to resolve the matter to make the parties to agree to sell the property, which is the bone of contention for peace to reign and share the money but she refused.
