Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, visited Fresh FM in Ibadan after a fire ravaged parts of the station’s headquarters. He expressed sympathy to the station’s management, promising state support to minimize the station’s downtime. The governor also pledged to strengthen Oyo State’s emergency response systems.

Makinde arrived at the station at 7:30 PM and met with Dr. Olayinka Ayefele, Chairman of Fresh FM.

Makinde thanked God for no casualties despite the severe damage.

The governor emphasized the need for better-equipped fire services and promised to meet with officials to enhance the state’s response.
