DAILY POST reports that Rwanda defeated Nigeria at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in their final AFCON group D encounter.
AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze gave the Super Eagles the lead before the hour mark.
Chukwueze dribbled past three Rwandan players before slotting the ball in the net.
Rwanda fought back and equalized via Jimmy Mutsinzi in the 72nd minute.
The visitors took the lead for the first time in the game through Innocent Nshuti three minutes later.
Reacting, the Super Eagles in a tweet on their X account, wrote:
