Real Madrid are on track to finalize a new contract for goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in July, with the proposal already in the drafting stage, sources close to the club confirmed to LeadNaija.
The Belgian international, who remains a key figure at the Santiago Bernabéu despite recovering from a long-term injury, is said to be fully committed to staying at the club. There are no issues between the two parties regarding terms.
Courtois, 32, joined Real Madrid in 2018 and has since established himself as one of the top goalkeepers in world football. The new deal is expected to extend his stay well beyond 2026.
