Parents and students of Transfield College in the Wooden Onirin area of Lagos State have been thrown into confusion and distress following allegations that the school proprietor disappeared with funds collected for the 2026 West African Examinations Council registration.

According to reports from affected families, students were allegedly asked to pay ₦80,000 each for the WAEC registration, with more than 300 candidates said to have made payments through the school management.
