Former Vice President of Nigeria and presidential aspirant in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has declared that democracy has come to stay in Nigeria.

Atiku made the remark on Monday, May 25, 2026, after casting his vote at the Ajiya Ward Polling Unit in Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa State.
