JUST-IN: Four Kidnappers Neutralized in Ejigbo, Lagos – Gang Leader ‘Ifeko’ Escapes with Bullet Wounds After Tense A Gun Battle

Four confirmed kidnappers from the South-East were neutralized during a failed abduction attempt in Ejigbo, Lagos, on May 24, 2026. The Lagos State Police Command identified the suspected gang leader as Ifeanyi, also known as “Ifeko,” who is believed to have coordinated the operation from abroad.

According to Commissioner of Police Tijani Fatai, the gang specialized in targeting wealthy businessmen. Police operatives acting on intelligence intercepted them at Jakande Estate Gate, Ejigbo. A gun battle ensued, resulting in the death of four gang members, while Ifeko escaped with bullet wounds.
