BREAKING: Enugu State To Begins Assembling Tractors

Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah has disclosed that the state will begin the assemblage of tractors before the year ends....TAP HERE TO READ THE FULL STORY..>>

Mbah disclosed this on his X handle on Saturday.

He said through a partnership that the state has entered with a Danish company, over 300 tractors will be assembled this year alone, adding that by the end of next year, the target is 1,000.

“The implication is that our farmers will no longer need to import machinery,” the elated governor wrote.

“They will have access to locally produced equipment, which will significantly boost our agricultural sector. We are focused on production and also committed to processing and adding value to what we produce. With our Special Processing Zones, we will ensure that Enugu doesn’t just grow crops but processes them for local use and export.”

According to him, his government is creating a perfect environment for investment to thrive, “with improved infrastructure; paved roads, better access to farmlands, enhanced security, and a business-friendly government.”

The governor congratulated Dr. Ifeanyi Okoye, the new NECA president, saying “We look forward to working together to create even more economic opportunities for our people. More than ever before, Enugu is open for business. Full Details
