Abia Comets head coach, Dipreye Tiebowei, has admitted that his team’s win over Edel FC was tough.
Tiebowei’s side defeated Edel FC 3-1 in a keenly contested encounter at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Saturday.
He commended his players for showing character in the game.
“We are all happy for getting the maximum points against Edel FC,” Tiebowei told Sportslighthub.
“It was really a difficult game but the boys showed a lot of character most especially in the second half.
“But it was a good performance from my players am proud of how we played to get the needed result.”
