Armed bandits launched a violent raid on Nasarawa Gabas, a community in the Dunkawa area of Sabon Birni Local Government Area in Sokoto State, looting food supplies and other valuable items from residents’ homes.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attack, which occurred late Friday night, saw the bandit, armed with a rifle, moving from house to house, forcing residents to hand over bags of food and other stored provisions.
Sources further revealed that the same bandit allegedly spent the night in the nearby community of Idi.
