Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma made a significant breakthrough by arresting a 25-year-old female ammunition courier, Shamsiyya Ahadu, who was carrying 764 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and 6 magazines destined for notorious terrorist kingpin Bello Turji’s camp. The arrest occurred on Saturday in the Badarawa area of Shinkafi Local Government Area, Zamfara State, along with her accomplice, Ahmed Husaini, a motorcycle rider.
A statement by the Coordinator Joint Media Coordination of Operation Fansan Yamma, Lieutenant-Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, said that the suspect was arrested on Saturday alongside her accomplice, a motorcycle rider named Ahmed Husaini, in the Badarawa area of Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria.Tap Here for the Full Story
The arrest followed an intelligence report about the movement of terrorist logistics in the area. In response, troops promptly established a roadblock, leading to the successful apprehension of the suspects. Both Shamsiyya and Ahmed are currently undergoing investigation by relevant authorities.
