Heavy flooding in Argungu, Kebbi State, has displaced over 300 people and destroyed around 200 houses. The affected residents have sought refuge in public schools.
Deputy Governor Umar Tafida visited the area, donating N5 million to each affected village and an additional N1 million for food and drinks.
He urged residents to see the disaster as an act of God and promised further action from Governor Nasir Idris.
