In a surprising development from La Liga, Imanol Alguacil has officially announced that he will step down as head coach of Real Sociedad at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
The long-serving manager, who has been at the helm since 2018, guided the Basque club to consistent European finishes and delivered a Copa del Rey title in 2020 — their first major trophy in over three decades.
