Wale Ajetunmobi, an aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, has kicked after the Senior Pastor of Throne of Eliyahs International Ministries, Rev. E.S Emeka, said God will soon make an Igbo man the governor of Lagos.
The clergyman said this while delivering a sermon before his congregation as seen in a viral video on social media.
He said, “In future and that future is very close. God is going to compensate the Igbos by making a governor of Lagos State an Igbo man.”
Reacting, Sanwo-Olu’s aide wondered why the Igbos are not interested in governing other non-Igbo states but Lagos.
“They don’t have interest in being the Governor of Kebbi or Plateau State, they only want Lagos at all cost. From where to where? This is no democracy, this is land grabbing,” he said on X.
He added, “They keep provoking people but they are the ones playing victim.”
