With several Nigerians still complaining over the high cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly known as fuel in Nigeria, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited has adjusted its fuel pump price.
A video shared by Nollywood actor and fitness enthusiast, Kate Henshaw showed a pump of the NNPCL reading N855 as the new fuel price.
Sharing the video post with an accompanying tweet, the Nollywood actress said, “NNPC have adjusted their pump price now!! Posted as received just now!”
“My driver just informed me that they stopped selling at Mobil to adjust pump price.
This video confirms it all! If the @nnpclimited is selling at N855, then it’s going to be double that elsewhere,” Henshaw added.

This new price comes shortly after the Nigerian government dismissed allegation that it was planning to increase the fuel pump price to N1,000 per litre.
The FG in a statement described the reports as outright falsehoods and “baseless fabrications aimed at sowing discord within the oil sector.n
It added, “There was never a time FG interfered with petroleum pricing with NNPCL, let alone give directives for price increment.”
