- Miss Usoro Akpabio has been appointed Managing Director of the South South Development Commission (SSDC).
- Dr. Charles Akinola has been appointed Managing Director of the South West Development Commission.
- Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi will serve as Chairman of the South West Development Commission.
