The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced plans to review the fees for some of its services effective August 1, 2025.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, the commission said the decision was informed by current economic realities and the rising cost of operations.
“The commission wishes to inform the general public, esteemed customers, and all stakeholders that, in the continued efforts to improve its service quality and delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective the 1st day of August, 2025,” the notice read.
The CAC said the move follows careful evaluation of the economic situation, rising operational costs, and consultation with key stakeholders.
It emphasized that the fee adjustment is essential to ensure continued provision of prompt, efficient, and technology-driven services that meet stakeholder expectations and support the Nigerian economy.
The commission further assured the public that the new fees would be modest, competitive, and consistent with its ongoing efforts to improve digital service delivery and uphold the integrity of Nigeria’s corporate registry.
