DSS Arrest 20 Individual For Hacking JAMB Website

The Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday arrested 20 suspected criminals for hacking the website of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation (JAMB).

The suspects were said to be part of a syndicate that specializes in hacking servers of institutions like JAMB, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and the National Examination Council (NECO).

It was gathered that the DSS worked with operatives of the Nigeria Police Force in Abuja to arrest the suspected hackers.

According to sources, the syndicate comprises about 100 persons who work together to hack key institutions’ websites.

The hackers are said to have been directly involved in hacking the JAMB website which led to the controversy that rocked the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
