The federal government has expanded its palliative distribution programme to support students nationwide and residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Over the weekend, Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, led the latest round of palliative distribution, emphasizing that the initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s broader economic reform agenda....Don’t Miss Out! Dr. Uzoka-Anite explained that this intervention is aimed at alleviating immediate economic pressures on citizens while long-term reforms are implemented. “These palliatives serve as a bridge while our comprehensive economic reforms take root,” she stated.

The distribution in the FCT targeted various beneficiary groups across its Area Councils, including student organizations, women associations, community groups, and vulnerable populations, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most.
