The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released the names and photographs of individuals declared wanted in connection with the CBEX investment fraud, a scheme that allegedly defrauded numerous Nigerians through deceptive financial practices.
The anti-graft agency made the announcement via its official channels, urging the public to assist with information that could lead to the apprehension of the suspects.
The CBEX scheme has been under investigation following multiple complaints from victims who claim they were lured into investing with promises of high returns, only to lose their funds.
The EFCC had earlier issued warnings against dealing with unregulated investment platforms.
The commission is calling on anyone with credible information about the whereabouts of the wanted persons to contact the nearest EFCC office or law enforcement agency.
