Former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai says he will not opt for a self-imposed exile despite rumors that he might be arrested by and tortured by the security agencies loyal to the Bola Tinubu administration.He made this known in a post on X in response to a post by an X user Imran Wakili on the alleged plot to arrest him. He said he would return to Nigeria from Egypt before February 20, 2025, intimating that he won’t be intimidated by the actions of the current government to silence him.Recall El-Rufai, a founding member of the party has been at loggerheads with the Presidency and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over the management of the economy.
