His Royal Highness, the Emir of Fika and Chairman Yobe State Council of Traditional Rulers, Dr. Muhammad Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrisa, has appointed Alhaji Ali Adamu Fika as the new Waziri of Fika.
Alhaji Ali Adamu Fika, the eldest son of the late Wazirin Fika, Mallam Adamu Wazirin Fika, who was the former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Born on December 2, 1962, in Kaduna, Ali Adamu Fika had his primary education at Kaduna Capital School, secondary education at Barewa College Zaria, and obtained a B.Sc. from the University of Maiduguri. He also holds a PGDA and MBA from Ahmadu Bello University.
With a distinguished career spanning 33 years in the operations and administrative departments of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Ali Adamu Fika retired from public service in 2022. Since then, he has dedicated his time to supporting the Emirate and humanity.
The appointment has been met with widespread congratulations, with people thronging to Ali Adamu Fika’s Potiskum residence to felicitate with him.
