A member of the IPOB Directorate Of States who also doubles as senior officer in the command chain of the Eastern Security Network, Mazi Chinasa Nworu has stated that no officers of the ESN were involved in any combat duel with any operational team of the Nigerian police force in Imo State.
He mentioned this to Family Writers Press International correspondent when he was contacted to make clarification to the recent claims of the Nigerian police, whom published pictorial clips accompanied by a press statement alleging that the police force apprehended ESN operatives and neutralized a number of them, with some of amongst the killed, wearing a T-shirt which has the ESN logo inscription on it.Tap Here for the Full Story
The IPOB senior official assured that no ESN officer was killed as there was no duel with the police to start with. He mentioned that those who were killed by the Nigerian police were elements of the state-sponsored agent provocateurs who have been in operation and are widely known for their notoriety in the areas which they were eventually apprehended.
The senior official emphasized that this is not the first time the Nigerian security apparatus are falsely accusing the IPOB movement, the ESN or manipulating evidence to blackmail and misinform the general public urging all and sundry to disregard the claims of the Nigerian police as it is false.
“I want to tell everyone that no ESN was killed in Imo State. ESN did not fight the police. Besides, ESN does not operate in the said areas and i have said this countlessly on Radio Biafra. During my last broadcast, I said there is a reason why ESN does not operate in areas where there are existence of armed gangs and this reason is to avoid misrepresentation and misidentification. ESN only focus on where there are Fulani herdsmen and their work is efficiently facilited by the help of the IPOB intelligence unit, who gather intels and they launch a precise op and leave”
“The Nigerian police are not only dubious but are very pathological liars. The ‘Zuma’ whom they claimed they caught has been in their custody for months. Same ‘Zuma’ i have mentioned his name on Radio Biafra as a criminal who does not belong to IPOB or ESN.”
When asked about the pictorial evidence of some of the dead alleged operatives putting on T-shirts inscripted with the ESN logo, he said;
“The Nigerian security forces not only the police have been crafty in the project to demonize IPOB and ESN, since the extraordinary rendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu four years ago”
“If you can remember months ago, the trend of the Biafran flag being at the sight of every crime scene was rampant in Biafraland. It was littered in all publications. We conducted investigations and we figured out that the Nigerian security apparatus, intelligence were perpetuating a high-level psychological campaign against the Biafra flag and all that it represents using the pretext of accusing IPOB and ESN of insecurity in the South-East.
“They carry the Biafra flag with them, even in their patrol vehicles and whenever they see any criminal they would immediately place the flag beside him or her and tag them ‘IPOB/ESN’.
“We knew the implication of such state-induced calumny against the Biafran flag especially in the eyes of the international community. So, we had to step in. I came on Radio Biafra and explained that the Biafra flag does not belong to IPOB nor ESN. It belongs to the Biafra people. IPOB is adopting the flag as the totem of the Biafra cause, as it resonates perfectly. And, other groups, individuals etc can do same too. And the flag had nothing to do with criminality.”
“I also mentioned that in order to to ensure that the sanctity of the Biafra flag is not toyed with. The Eastern Security Network does not and will not carry the Biafra flag as it is not a Biafran army or any official security agency rather a mere vigilante group created by the IPOB movement to combat the menaces of the Fulani killer herdsmen in the Biafra region.”
“During that broadcast, I warned that if the Nigerian security operatives does not desist from the evil campaign of against the Biafran flag. IPOB would order the global families and Biafrans all over the world to reciprocate the gesture towards the Nigerian flag by desecrating the Nigerian flag in the most disrespectful way on camera.”
“Afterwards, they stopped doing so. And, you no longer see Biafra flag at any crime scene. This is to tell you the level of battles we are facing. So, with regards whether it was a ESN logo. Yes it is. But, the ESN does not wear T-shirts inscribed with its logo. Because, it can be easily duplicated by anyone. And, if any one is observant enough they would notice this. They just do not.”
“Everything we do is carefully designed to ensure that IPOB and ESN are not easily misidentified knowing how obsessed our enemies are to see us destroyed. That is why whenever they falsify or try to manipulate evidence to misinform the public, we would easily spot them.”
“The ESN do have their uniforms which they wear during some occasional parades. However, there is no static color of uniform. And, it can change at any moment, at the decision of the IPOB leadership in conjunction with the ESN high command. And, most notably, none of their uniforms have the ESN logo inscribed on them. So, you see how carefully and professional we are in our mode of operations.”
He concluded by saying that the Eastern Security Network are squarely faced with combating the Fulani terror herdsmen and enhancing combat readiness as their terror brothers-in-arm are being displaced across the Sahel, in the AES countries. Hence, do not have interest in engaging the Nigerian security forces.
“The focus of the ESN is to make sure that Biafraland is safe from the Fulani herdsmen. We all can see what these guys are doing in the Sahel and how they are being chased out by the Indigenous populations there. This is our focus. And, we are giving rigorous training to these ESN operatives in preparation of what is to come. Because we know they are coming.”
“So, fighting the Nigerian security operatives is not in our agenda right now. But, let me tell them. They should stop making mouth because ESN operatives are not walk over, as they do with the criminals. Anyday they engage operatives of the Eastern Security Network. They would know the difference.
