Residents of Umuelele/Afor Irite, near Uchenna Bus Stop in Imo State, are on high alert following a reported threat from a terrorist group identified as Fulani herdsmen.
According to a viral post by X user Elochukwu Ohagi, shared on Wednesday, the group allegedly sent a notice warning of an impending attack on the community. The threat comes after a reported attack by the same group in Ebonyi State.
A photograph included in the post shows a poster with the chilling message: “Fulani Herdsmen, We Are Coming. Wait for Us at Any Time, at Any Moment Now… Wait for Us.”
While tensions remain high, residents have been urged to stay vigilant and remain calm. Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the matter.
