The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) released fresh information on Friday, May 16, for candidates resisting the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The examination body reminded candidates that the most effective method of solving some of their challenges and communicating with the board is through the JAMB ticketing system.
Acknowledging that candidates may face several challenges while processing the resit application, the examination body said the ticketing system is fast and easy.
In a post made on X, JAMB said it guarantees a quick response for the candidates through the ticketing system.
It wrote, “For the 2025 UTME Exam rewrite candidates, simply go to jamb.gov.ng and select Quicklinks.
“Select Ticketing/Support. Once you have been authenticated as a candidate by entering your registration number, you can select Exam Rewrite and then select the applicable subtopic, such as Slip printing issue, centre Issue, clashing exam issue or any other issue you may have. You will get a reply as soon as possible,” the board said.
Candidates who were affected in the flawed 2025 UTME examination result organised by JAMB are expected to resist the process throughout this weekend.
Although some of the candidates are also sitting for the West African Examination Council (WAEC) papers, JAMB has said that issues of clashing subjects and dates would be taken care of.
This arrangement by the board comes after its registrar announced that the 2025 UTME taken by candidates intending to gain admission into tertiary institutions in the country was riddled with errors.
Apologising for the technical glitch with JAMB’s system, the registrar said he would take full responsibility for the damage caused.
