The Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM), an Al-Qaeda-affiliated militant group, has claimed responsibility for two improvised explosive device (IED) attacks targeting security forces in Tillabéri Region, western Niger....TAP HERE TO READ THE FULL STORY..>>

According to a statement from the group, the attacks resulted in casualties among Nigerien Defense and Security Forces (SDF). The explosives were remotely detonated in two separate incidents.

The first attack occurred near Samira, while the second took place between Torodi and Niaktiré, both areas known for persistent insecurity and militant activity.

The Tillabéri region, which borders Mali and Burkina Faso, has been a hotspot for terrorist operations, with armed groups frequently targeting military convoys and civilian populations.
