Mourinho’s comments come after recent speculation linking Ronaldo with a potential move to Fenerbahce. However, the experienced manager has shut down these rumors, emphasizing that he is happy with his current squad.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will not come,” Mourinho said. “The first reason is that I have three good forwards and I don’t want another one. Cristiano will always be Cristiano, but I don’t want him because I’m happy with my forwards.”
Mourinho’s decision not to pursue Ronaldo is likely due to the fact that he already has a strong attacking trio in Edin Dzeko, Cenk Tosun, and Youssef En-Nesyri. The three forwards have been instrumental in Fenerbahce’s success this season, helping the team to second place in the Super Lig with 32 points from 13 games.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, has been in impressive form for Al-Nassr, scoring 16 goals and registering three assists in 19 appearances across all competitions. However, it appears that Mourinho is not interested in adding the 39-year-old to his squad.
Mourinho also expressed his skepticism about the possibility of Ronaldo joining Fenerbahce, citing the player’s current situation at Al-Nassr. “What could motivate him to come to Turkey, other than the beauty of Istanbul?..CLICK TO READ THE FULL NEWS HERE▶▶ “ Mourinho asked rhetorically.
