Four individuals have tragically lost their lives in a fatal motor accident on the Abaji-Gwagwalada Expressway on April 10, 2025, when a Howo cement mixer truck collided with an Iveco trailer.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the accident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. when the Howo truck, owned by Dangote Cement, crashed into the moving Iveco trailer with registration number T-0497KT, driven by Ibrahim Musa from Katsina State.
The collision caused a fire that engulfed the Howo truck, resulting in the death of all four occupants who were burnt beyond recognition.
The Iveco trailer veered off the road and crashed into a nearby bush, with the driver and one passenger sustaining varying degrees of injuries.
They were promptly rushed to the Abaji General Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
The bodies of the deceased were released to their relatives for burial according to Islamic rites.
