Petroleum Tanker
Again, another petroleum tanker has fallen in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
According to Daily Post, the accident occurred around 11am on Sunday.
It occurred at Tose area in Moniya in Akinyele local government area.
It was learnt the men of Oyo State Fire Service were informed immediately the accident occurred.
General Manager of the Oyo State Fire Service, Mr Yemi Akinyinka confirmed the development.
He said the accident was reported to the agency’s control room at exactly 11:11hrs of Sunday.
He added that the agency immediately deployed its men to the scene of the incident to avert any likely fire hazard that might trigger as a result of petroleum spillage.
He said that policemen are also on ground to curb the illegality of the public scooping of fuel.
