Abba, the son of former Director General of the Department of State Services, Yusuf Magaji Bichi has made away with the sum of $2 million (N3 billion), veteran journalist, Jackson Ude tweeted on Thursday.
Mr. Ude quoted DSS sources as saying that Abba knew where his father keeps money he collects from politicians.
In two separate tweets on Thursday on his verified X handle @jacksonpbn, the communication strategist wrote:
“Sources in the DSS who confirmed the theft said Abba who had knowledge of where his father hides money he collects from politicians, raced to his father’s house and took the box load of dollars as soon as his sack was announced by President Bola Tinubu.
“Similarly, the Chief Security Officer to the sacked former DG, Mr. Adamu, has been detained for also stealing thousands of dollars left in the office of his boss.
“Adamu, according to a source went into Bichi’s office and was ransacking the office and took bundles of dollar bills. He was apprehended immediately as he came out of the office with the bag of dollars.”
He further noted that “While Abba stealing of his father’s $2million has been confirmed by several sources in DSS, that of Adamu, according to a source went into Bichi’s office and was ransacking the office and took bundles of dollar bills.
“He was apprehended immediately as he came out of the office with the bag of dollars.”
Another tweet noted that “While Abba stealing of his father’s $2 million has been confirmed by several sources in DSS, that of Adamu is yet to be fully confirmed.
