The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has apprehended 55-year-old drug kingpin, Mohammed Ali Abubakar, and five of his syndicate members for their involvement in a drug trafficking operation.
The operation resulted in the detention of three Nigerians in Saudi Arabia.
The suspects were arrested for drug trafficking after three unsuspecting pilgrims were detained in Saudi Arabia.
The pilgrims were unknowingly used as drug mules when their luggage was switched with bags containing illicit substances.
