Napoli have identified Darwin Nunez as their priority target for the central striker role, with the club holding off on pursuing alternative options as they focus fully on the Liverpool forward.
Report revealed that talks are expected to resume next week, as Napoli seek to determine whether a transfer fee and salary package can be made feasible to secure the Uruguay international.
The Serie A side view Nunez as a “dream signing”, and are prepared to delay other moves in the transfer market until they receive clarity on the possibility of landing the 24-year-old.
