Troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued 23 passengers who were abd¥cted by suspected kidnappers along the Ayegunle–Bunu Road in Kabob-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, according to military analyst Deji Adesogan.

Security sources said the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. on Monday when armed attackers blocked the highway and opened fire on passing vehicles. Several commuters were seized during the a§§ault.
