Popular Nigerian comedian-turned-singer Nasboi has launched a unique 36-day tour across Nigeria, kneeling in all 36 states in a heartfelt bid to secure a music collaboration with Afrobeats star Davido.
The tour, which kicked off on Wednesday, is part of what Nasboi describes as a “campaign plea” following several unsuccessful attempts to get a verse from Davido. He revealed that he has spent the past five years mimicking the singer in hopes of catching his attention.
In an Instagram post, Nasboi shared a photo of himself kneeling with a placard in front of the Osun State Government Secretariat. By Thursday, he was spotted at the Kano State Government House, continuing his tour.
“I will be kneeling across the 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes true. Please tag @davido every time you see a post,” he wrote.
The campaign has since drawn widespread attention and support from fans across social media.
