Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has stated that Nigerians have grown disillusioned with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), citing widespread disapproval of the current administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
El-Rufai, a founding member of the APC, made the remarks during an interview with Arise Tv , parts of which were later made public by media aides.
“Nigerians are tired of the APC, we know that,” El-Rufai reportedly said. “We have polled that. There is a 91% disapproval of this administration across the country. It is the worst in Nigerian history, but Nigerians are looking for credible options.”
The former minister, known for his blunt political commentary, did not hold back in his assessment of the Tinubu-led government’s performance, suggesting that public sentiment is shifting dramatically ahead of the 2027 general elections.
