From pregnancy announcements that thrilled fans to the heartwarming arrival of their little princess, these entertainers have stepped into the role of being girl-parents with poise.
In this list, we take a look at five Nigerian celebrities who welcomed their baby girls this year.
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin have welcomed their first daughter and third child.
The couple who announced the arrival of their new-born, named her ‘Universe Ifeyinwa Storm Yul-Edochie’.
Sharing the exhilarating news on Friday, May 23, Yul expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for the new addition to their home. Captioning the birth of Universe in the labour ward, the actor wrote:
“We prayed, our fans prayed, and God answered. Rejoice with us as we welcome our beautiful daughter. Her name is UNIVERSE IFEYINWA STORM YUL-EDOCHIE. Thank you, Lord.”
The news came two day after a video Yul shared of Judy arriving the hospital in preparation of her daughter’s birth. The couple had previously announced their third pregnancy in February.
Yul, known for his playful candour, had earlier likened himself to football star Cristiano Ronaldo, joking about his fertility and expressing a desire to have five more children with Judy.
Yul and Judy’s relationship has been in the public eye since 2022, when it became known while the former was still married to his first wife, May Edochie.
Despite the controversies, the couple continues to share updates on their growing family.
