Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Nigeria’s North Central region have officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.
The endorsement took place during the North Central APC Stakeholders’ Meeting held in Abuja. The motion was put forward by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and was seconded by the Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago.
The high-level gathering featured a broad coalition of APC leaders, including governors from the North Central states, former governors, deputy governors, current and former ministers, serving and past lawmakers, members of the APC National Working Committee, and other prominent party stakeholders.
The endorsement marks a strategic show of unity and support for President Tinubu’s leadership from the region as the APC begins early positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections.
