PDP Disclose Plan To Arrest Any Party Members Who Breach The Court Order

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a warning that anyone who asserts they are the acting national Chairperson, other than Umar Damagun, will face arrest.

At a press conference held in Abuja on Monday, Ibrahim Mangu, the Deputy National Secretary of the party, made a statement regarding a potential threat.

At the press conference, Mr. Manga, designated by the Damagun group as the spokesperson for the party, announced that the group intends to assign security personnel to apprehend any party members who breach the court order.

“We are constrained to express our utter disgust and disappointment in our colleagues’ resort to “motor park”
approach to what is simply a suspension intended to allow them the chance to address certain allegations against them. While we are well aware of the drummers’ capabilities, we believe the masquerades should have received better guidance in their performances to avoid compromising themselves on stage.

He added, “In the face of this reckless violation of a subsisting court order, we are hereby left with no option but to deploy the services of security agencies in the enforcement of the rule of law.
