Pep Guardiola Gives Injury Update Before Clash with Arsenal - ARS Vs Man City

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Manchester City will be without several key players for their upcoming Premier League match against Arsenal on Sunday.

According to Sky news, The City boss addressed the injury concerns during his pre-match press conference, revealing that none of the club’s injured players are in contention to return for the heavyweight fixture at the Emirates Stadium.

City are in fine form, having won four of their last five Premier League matches, and are looking to cut the gap between themselves and league leaders Arsenal to just three points with a win. However, Guardiola will be forced to make do with a depleted squad, as several senior players remain sidelined.

Defender Ruben Dias, who recently returned from a muscle injury, is unavailable for selection after he was forced to leave the field early during City’s 4-2 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. Likewise, winger Jeremy Doku, who has missed recent games against PSG, Chelsea, and Club Brugge, will not be available for the Arsenal clash.

Nathan Ake, who has been out for the last four matches with a muscle injury, remains unavailable, leaving City with a thin defensive line. Youngster Oscar Bobb, who has recovered from a broken leg suffered earlier this season, is fit again, but Guardiola confirmed that he was not included in the squad for the midweek win over Club Brugge, raising doubts over his involvement this weekend.

The most significant absentee is Rodri, who remains a long-term injury concern for City with an ACL injury that is expected to keep him out for an extended period.

Despite these injury setbacks, Guardiola does have some options available. The January signings of Omar Marmoush, Vitor Reis, and Abdukodir Khusanov are all eligible to feature after being unavailable for the Club Brugge fixture. The trio could play a role as City aim to continue their push for the Premier League title.Tap Here for the Full Story

As Guardiola prepares his squad for the crucial match against Arsenal, City’s injury problems will test the depth of their squad, but they will be determined to keep pace with the league leaders in this high-stakes encounter.
