Reno Omokri through his X page reacts to Peter Obi speech at the Nexford University. Peter Obi explained the political system of Nigeria as he claimed that there are more Yahoo people in government than there are outside.
In reaction Reno said obi assertion is very correct but he is one of Nigeria’s most prominent ever Yahoo politicians

“The major issue with Peter Obi’s politics is that it is built on lies and populism, which are easy to spot if you are not blinded by ethnic loyalty to him. For example, he promised to move Nigeria from consumption to production, and as of today, he is still the biggest individual importer in Nigeria. You enter his Next Supermarket, and almost everything there is imported.”
“Then, he promised to expand our educational sector, but this is a man who, as a two-term Governor of Anambra, did not build a single nursery, primary, secondary, or university”
“He says he will reduce poverty. Please fact-check me: Under Peter Obi as Anambra Governor, poverty almost doubled.”
“Before Peter Obi took over as Governor of Anambra, poverty in that state was 41.4%. However, under Mr. Obi, it grew to 53.7%, partly because Peter Obi refused to use the state’s allocations to build infrastructure, preferring to deposit them in his bank to yield interest that went into his pockets.”
“Then, he claims he will reduce insecurity. But this is a man under whom hundreds of young men were being killed and their bodies dumped into the Ezu River while he was Governor. Bakassi Boys and other groups made Anambra like the Wild West of cowboy movies.”
‘Again, Peter Obi says he can improve our health sector, yet this is a fellow under whom doctors went on strike for thirteen months for lack of pay while he bought 400 SUVs for Anambra igwes. Years later, the same Peter Obi hypocritically criticised the National Assembly for buying 400 cars for Legislators.”
“So, if you are an Obidient, kindly tell us which of Peter Obi’s promises is grounded in reality. If Peter Obi could not transform small Anambra and instead increase poverty there, what moral authority would he have for claiming that he would turn Nigeria into a paradise?”
Does it make sense to produce hell and then sell heaven? Is that not fraud?
