Scores of Nigerian governors, senators, businessmen, clerics, among others have converged in Madinah ahead of the 2025 Hajjj. Some of the VIP pilgrims include Governors Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Abba Kabir Yusuf (Kano), Nasir Idris (Kebbi), Umaru Bago (Niger), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa); Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities; APC National Chairman Dr Abdullahi Ganduje; Senators Kawu Sumaila, Ali Ndume, Adamu Aliero, Sahabi Yau, Sheikh Haliru Maraya, Sheikh Kabiru Gombe, Sheikh Yakabu Musa, among others.
